Spice Design Consultants completed the design, planning and project management for the first FMOT [ first moment of truth] retail analysis facility in Europe. A new team of specialist IT management were assembled by P&G to set up the state of the art technology in the form of virtual reality equipment and IT processing network systems. One of the main challenges was the delivery of the Barco CAVE a structure consisting of four industry size projectors and mirrors with complex digital calibration control equipment.
The services which were launched with “medium fanfare” and immediate success, will be marketed outside the P&G corporate group to the other retail giants.
Due to the commercial demand Spice were appointed to extend the offices and AV facilities with specialist AV company Impact Marcom.
Second phase due to complete in September 2007.
