Spice Design headed up a project team to receive handover from the managing agents of the new headquarters building and surrounding grounds. The overall brief was an upgrade to suit the new company corporate requirements for presentation suites, meeting rooms, private offices and new satellite control rooms and secure equipment rooms.
Scope of services
Following survey of the new HQ building, all floors were fitted out with new partitions, telephone/data networks and new external redundancy back up generators.
Concept
To reinforce the “high-tec” profile of the potential satellite operator.

FMOT stands for the “first moment of truth” the acronym used for the first CONSUMER RESEARCH CENTRE utilising new techniques of virtual reality technology to simulate anything from products to new retail supermarket interiors.
Phase One : The initial space planning revolved around the Barco “CAVE” the VR facility achieved by five projectors and mirrors contained in a clean dust free environment.
Over-all project management for complete fit-out of customer focus lounge, customer monitoring rooms, offices, presentation/AV suite with AV control console. Installation of AV/data network and general IT equipment rack rooms.
Phase Two: Following the successfull launch to the corporate retail industry, the organisation was expanded to include new offices, retail Lab and a presentation suite incorporating LCD and projector display screens providing 360 degree viewing with remote control of lighting, curtains and blinds.
